After receiving hundreds of applications, Alienware have chosen their final four of the Alienware Backpacking Challenge. The lucky four will have the chance to win $5,000 as they take on a series of tough challenges in a bid to avoid being voted off by the public.
With contenders from all across Europe with a wide range of experience whittling down the candidates was no easy task. Those selected will be no strangers to Cadred readers and e-sports enthusiasts alike, all of them having some background in the industry.
The lucky four are:
Livia Liefje Teernstra - former CGS Berlin Allianz DoA Female player and e-sports journalist
Matthijs "A_Spec" Hoving - QuadV shoutcaster and technician
Ben "ben0" Balcombe - Former Zboard captain and Team UK CS:S player
Alasdair "Duck" Sparrow - Former Cadred writer and accountancy student
The starting point for the competition is the E-sports World Cup in Paris today and from there the competitors will be given their first challenge. You will also be able to keep up to date with their blogs and vlogs on the Alienware Challenge from that point on, as well as receiving periodic updates thanks to your favourite "Heaven Media" sites.
We wish all the competitors the best of luck.
